The Lightness of Tomorrow
I woke up late.
And still undressed,
I drowned my headache in a cup of coffee.
‘Last-nights’ are never much of a success…
But ‘mornings-after’ are just awful!
You said
I should have never said
The things I said.
Do I regret it?
I thought
I should have taken off…
The thoughts I thought!
And took -
the ash-trey.
